Visette’s 3 signature blends were created for aromatic effect following traditional methods used historically in fragrance making—long before synthetic fragrances were created and when all fragrances were made using plant and animal oils.
Each Visette blend contains 5 different essential (plant) oils, and is carefully crafted as a fragrance chord—balancing the base, middle and top notes. A fixative note is included in each blend to extend the life of the fragrance.
I created these blends after more than a decade mixing essential oils and creating products that I shared with friends. This journey started when someone gave me a copy of Essence and Alchemy: A Natural History of Perfume.
